Where standard Gunpowder is bold and slightly bitter, Temple of Heaven is softer, more aromatic, and distinctly more elegant.
Like all Gunpowder teas, the leaves are dried in rolling drums — the constant rotation giving them their characteristic spherical, tightly rolled ball shape. The “Temple of Heaven” designation indicates an exceptionally tight roll, a hallmark of superior quality. The result is a smooth, clean green tea with a softer aroma and less bitterness than standard grades, making it approachable and enjoyable at any time of day.
